HatchMap  -

Hatchmap is designed to help local retailers predict future trends which will help them with their inventory management and optimising overall revenue.  The model uses the strength of sentiments in order to predict sales. This model is using linear regression and sentiment analysis. The data is collected from Twitter's (open APIs) abiding privacy policies.

The outcome of the analysis revealed that the literacy rate (irrespective of social-economic status )of a given state in India has a significant impact on the utility of technology and availing microfinance.

Terrain Smart Safety System with Data Hub Establishment

The proposed terrain smart safety system using radio-frequency identification (RFID) aims to avoid the problems faced during traversing of treacherous mountain roads which generally consists of hairpin turns and steep edges. The RFID technique is used to detect and report the status of vehicles at every turn. The complete system provides an efficient way to identify the mishaps happening on mountain roads. The number of vehicles and its location can be monitored remotely and necessary actions can be initiated if required. Amateur drivers often traverse in such hostile conditions, leading to fatal mishaps. Due to lack of sufficient communication and availability of medical assistance in these locations, most of the accident cases remain anonymous. The deployment of this system aims to decrease the rate of accidents. The identification details of a vehicle and the passengers are recorded. The data can be handed over to the concern authorities in case of any accident or natural calamity.
