Contributing to communities has always been a vital part of my life and professional journey!

They have shaped my ability to think and have helped me to contribute back. Unfortunately, there are still so many developers struggling to find a safe space where they are treated equally. One of them was me.

Personally, I want to spread a simple message to treat everyone with respect and to speak up when necessary.

I have learned so many wonderful lessons from being part of various communities. Currently, I am contributing as a Diversity and Inclusion Advocate at "Python Software Foundation", Organizer at "PyLadies Bangalore" and project incubator member at "NumFOCUS".

In the past, I contributed as a Board member at "Django Software Foundation", Nomination committee member at "Linux Professional Institute", India Inclusion council member at "Twilio", Organiser at "Google Developer groups Bangalore" and Ambassador at "Women Techmakers Bangalore".

Apart from earning my livelihood, I coach and mentor developers across the globe under amazing initiatives by "Learn it Girl", "GirlScript Foundation" and "Founders4School".
